Parga is a picturesque small town on the mainland of Greece, situated between the coastal region of Preveza and Igoumenitsa, that has an island feel.

It is surrounded by mountains covered with olive groves while colorful houses climb the mountainside from seaside to the top and an old venetian castle overlooks the sheltered harbour.

The wonderful nature of Parga, her history, the golden beaches, the flowers of course the green color from the olive and orange trees have constituted her as the jewel of Epirus and a place of attraction for Greeks and foreigners. It is a relaxing place but at the same time there are plenty of things to do during the day until late at night. Parga is a positive surprise!

Also for those who want to take it easy and tmake trips, Parga is halfaway from many archaeological places of the mainland (like Necromantion) and some of the nearby islands like Paxos and Antipaxos are less than 2 hours away. The big island of Corfu is also not all that far away.
